Community foundations
Christopher’s career began in community and human services, where direct experience made clear that individual challenges cannot be separated from family, neighborhood, identity, poverty, health, and access to institutions.

Leadership and capacity building
Work in LGBTQ+ services, nonprofit administration, substance use, harm reduction, and national training expanded the focus from individual service to programs, organizations, and workforce development.

Public child welfare and scholarship
Since 2018, child-protection and Child Advocacy Center practice have deepened his focus on trauma, family systems, multidisciplinary response, supervision, workforce resilience, and doctoral-level inquiry.
